Outdoor debris burning in Deschutes County (including Bend, Redmond, and Crooked River Ranch) will close for the season at midnight on Thursday, April 30, 2026, due to elevated wildfire risk and dry conditions.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of Free disposal of yard debris at the Fire Free annual events to assist homeowners in creating defensible space for wildfire mitigation.
